DESCRIPTION
A sip of Alto Adige! The Lagrein "Lamarein" from the Unterganzner Estate inspires the public at first sight thanks to its intense almost black-violet colour: dried berries, fine chocolate and deep leather notes reach the nose creating a bouquet capable of satisfying any woman in any occasion. The Lagrein then gently knocks on the doors of the palate and, once it enters, presents its powerful tannins, its beautiful density, concluding in a pleasantly bitter finish. Thanks to the delicate maturation process in small and large wooden barrels, it develops a strong aroma which makes it the ideal accompaniment for game, red meats and hard cheeses.

In addition to Schiava, Lagrein is the most important native red grape variety of Alto Adige. It is no coincidence, in fact, that it can boast 8.8% of the total vineyard areas in Alto Adige.
