Description
Wine with a ruby red color, fruity aromas of cherries, raspberries, small red fruits, and fine spices, well integrated with hints of toasting. On the palate it is full-bodied, full, complex with soft tannins and a long and elegant finish.
Aging potential: 10-15 years.
Grape variety
Pinot Noir; Espalier systems with vines aged between 15-35 years.
Winemaking
Alcoholic fermentation in wooden barrels for approximately 3 weeks with maceration at a controlled temperature of 25-28° C. Malolactic fermentation in wooden barrels and subsequent maturation of the wine for another 12 months partly in new barriques and partly in second/third pass.

Area
The vineyards are located at an altitude of approximately 400 m above sea level. Most of the grapes come from soils of morainic origin, composed of porphyritic and dolomitic rocks. The other part of the grapes is grown on gravelly, clayey-limestone soils.
