GRAPE VARIETY : Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot,
Petit Verdot, Lagrein
QUALITATIVE IMPROVEMENT INTERVENTIONS:
thinning of 60% of the grapes in July; a part of the Cabernet variety grapes is dried directly on the vine
HARVEST: staggered, from early October to mid-November
VINIFICATION: crushing, destemming and subsequent fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled fermentation temperature, with a contact period on the skins of approximately 10 days for Cabernet and Petit Verdot, and seven days for Lagrein
AGING: malolactic fermentation and refinement in new barriques mainly made of French oak for a period of 18 months; assembly before bottling.
COLOR: intense garnet red
BOUQUET : hints of ripe fruit, dried fruit, red currants with notes of vanilla
ORGANOLEPTIC DESCRIPTION: rich in extracts, very intense and fragrant, long-lasting with velvety tannins
