Biserno is our namesake wine. A thought-provoking wine, Biserno reflects the excellent terroir and microclimate of the Maremma coastal area. Being made in a very classic way, it takes longer to reach the stage of perfect drinkability. Its character is very personal and does not resemble other wines from the Maremma, maintains a typical character of the Tuscan coast but in a very international way.

Mixed soil of clay and Bolgheri conglomerate
Vinification The grapes are carefully selected on the vibrating belt in the cellar. Soft destemming and pressing; fermentation in truncated cone-shaped steel tanks for 3-4 weeks at 28°, malolactic fermentation in barriques for 40% of the mass, the remaining portion in steel.
Aging The wine passes for 16 months in 60% new French oak barriques, the remainder in one-year-old barriques. Bottle aging for 12 months.
