DESCRIPTION
A fiery character from the south of the south: The Pinot Noir "Buchholz" from Castelfeder brings the Mediterranean atmosphere of the vineyard in the border region directly into the glass. First, however, it wants to rest for twelve months in oak barrels and another three months in the bottle. But then it releases its sunny charm in a brilliant ruby ​​red and spreads the typical varietal aromas of dark red berries, cherries and some hints of wood. On the palate, the structure and acidity come together beautifully and persist for a long time. "Buchholz" brings a spark of lightness to hearty game dishes and strikes a balance between contrast and harmony with red meat with hearty sauces.
