Percarlo is a robust and structured Tuscan red wine made from Sangiovese grapes , aged in barrique for 22 months. Percarlo is a purebred Sangiovese, a true expression of crystalline class and great power . The indissoluble union between one of the most suitable Italian red grape varieties and a multifaceted territory such as that of Gaiole in Chianti allows for the creation of highly complex and extremely long-lived liquids. The stylistic interpretation of the San Giusto A Rentennano winery is a watershed between attention to tradition and a more modern interpretation, which takes the form of greater concentration and richness. 160 hectares of farm, divided between vineyards, olive groves, forest and meadows to enhance biodiversity and attention to environmental sustainability which is achieved through the practice of certified organic farming.

The Percarlo red wine comes from pure Sangiovese grapes selected bunch by bunch from the best vineyards of the winery. The very low yields per plant and the harvesting of some overripe bunches allow for a greater aromatic concentration of the fruit, as well as a production devoted entirely to the qualitative aspect. Fermentation and maceration take place in enamelled concrete tanks and last more than a month. The liquid ages in French oak tonneaus and barriques for 20-22 months and after bottling which takes place without filtration, it rests for 18 months in the bottle before being marketed.

Percarlo wine has a ruby ​​color that turns towards garnet. Pulsating nose, it combines the austere character of the Chianti terroir with the sweetness of the stylistic interpretation of the cellar. Juicy cherries, blood oranges, cinchona, and then a breath of spices reminiscent of cloves and liquorice.
